Scoping Report
In July 2019, Walcha Energy submitted Scoping Report for Salisbury Solar to NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. In Scoping Report, we identified potential social and environmental issues of the solar farm and engaged with the community and other stakeholders to get their view on the project. Scoping Report is the first phase of State Significant development assessment.

Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements
In August 2019, The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment assessed the Scoping Report and set out the matters that Walcha Energy has to assess on Environmental Impact Statement, the next stage of the State Significant process. This document, The Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs), set out consent conditions and consultation requirements that must be complied.
